Our Capital Expansion Project Enters the Final Phase!


Dear Friends,

Construction of the new Ancram Center Annex is nearing completion! When we officially open the Annex doors as part of next year’s season, our expanded campus will include:

  • A welcoming new porch and gathering space for audiences

  • New housing for interns and visiting performers

  • Space to hold free workshops and creative programs for the community

Generous support from so many in our community has made this transformational progress possible. As we enter this exciting final phase, we are reaching out one last time for your help as we do need to raise some additional funds to make this dream a reality. There are two ways to make a difference:

 

FUND FINAL IMPROVEMENTS

As part of the remaining work to be done, your contribution will defray specific costs of construction during this final phase:

  • $500 = lighting for new porch / outdoor reception area

  • $1,000 = Accessible restroom fixtures for the community room

  • $2,500 = ADA compliant kitchen appliances for the new intern/artist accommodations

  • $5,000 = Accessible walkways connecting the Annex and Opera House

Our new Annex is nearly complete—and now, you can take your seat in its story.

We’re launching the final phase of our capital campaign with the Take Your Seat initiative. You’re invited to sponsor a custom patio chair in our new outdoor gathering space.

Each chair will feature a personalized nameplate—honoring you, a loved one, or your commitment to the arts in Ancram.

Chair Sponsorship: $500 (Just 20 chairs are available—chairs are first come, first served!)

What You Receive:

  • A custom engraved nameplate on your chair
